Follow Friday!

Follow Friday is a meme hosted by ParaJunkee's View and Alison Can Read.

This week's question: What is your biggest pet peeve when it comes to books? Maybe you don't like love triangles or thin plots. Tell us about it!

My main pet peeve is typos and grammatical errors. I don't like those. For some reason, I get mad when I see those in a book. I can over look one or two things, but if it happens on every other page, I can't finish the book. I know I'm not the best writer, but that's what makes me go uggghh!

  1. Happy FF, I agree with you. Sometimes it can be bad enough to just not read the book.

  2. I know! I especially hate it when I get it from self published authors and they're on every single page. Nicholas Sparks actually read his entire book backwards, line by line to make sure there were no errors. I feel like if you take the time to look, you won't mess up. Great answer!

    Here's my FF!

  3. I agree somewhat. I don't like them if it seems to be an error or mis -spelling on every darn page. i've only come across two books that was just that bad. one was a self publisher and the other was with a publisher house. being with a publisher house making errors like that really is a piss off.

  4. It really bugs me too, which is why I'm really picky about accepting self-pubbed books for review. I've had A LOT of issues with grammatical errors and such...

  6. Thanx for stopping by! following back! :D

  7. I hate it when I feel my intelligence is being underestimated. When the pages are filled with blablabla. I read a book once that went on about a spell recipe for an entire chapter when it wasn't really important, the outcome of it was. It made feel the author only put it in there to make the book thicker. Really irritating.
